Photographers of Relish…..

The Relish photographers are a special bunch. They approach the organisers of Relish before the event to offer their photography skills, as their way of contributing to the gathering. Because what they offer is a gift, Relish places no expectations on the finished product. The result of this freedom is pure magic!

Below are the contributing photographers from Relish 21’. They each bring their own eye, taste, style, and have produced beautiful work. You will find their images splattered across this website, as well as on the Relish Facebook page.

Feel free to contact them if you require fantastic photographers. They are epic humans!

Federico Pagola

Kia Ora, my name is Federico, I was born in Uruguay, I lived in the Caribbean and now I’m lucky enough to call New Zealand home. I feel a particular love for what I consider "art" and I enjoy it in all types of forms. I feel that photography is the best place to occupy within this "relationship".

Through my photos, I share my way of seeing & experiencing reality. My attention is focused mainly on people, because it is through them that I am inspired and I find an echo in this life.

I’m building a career as a photographer and on the other hand, documenting moments of great importance in people's lives. I constantly try to immortalise those moments with a camera. Time and light are my best tools and the shoot button is nothing more than a brush dipping in paint: It is my task to make the canvas a work that is of absolute satisfaction for the viewer.

David Hera Photography

David hera

Originally from the south of Germany (close to the Alps) David Hera has been calling Christchurch (New Zealand) home since 2015.

It's hard to know what came first - his love for the mountains or his love for landscape photography. But the combination of both is certainly where his passion lies and his current portfolio covers landscapes from the German, Austrian and Italian Alps to Iceland, Spain and all the way to the North and South Island of Aotearoa.

Aside from landscapes, David also likes to dabble in wildlife, fungi, events, sports, portrait and wedding photography. He is currently doing a PhD in mycology at University of Canterbury and Manaaki Whenua / Landcare Research in Christchurch.

Jordan McINally

Jordan McInally is a Queenstown born and bred Astro & Landscape photographer operating under the alias Undersoul Photography, with an unhealthy addiction to adventure, extreme sports and extreme places.

Spending most of his time travelling New Zealand & living in a van, attending festivals, climbing mountains and taking photos of this country’s dramatic landscapes, Jordan started his photographic career with AJ Hackett Bungy by taking photos of people jumping off a bridge. What started as a casual means of survival has morphed into a life obsession of capturing the beauty of the world around us, reminding his audience of how incredible our natural world can be, especially the night sky.
