THE ORGANISERS OF RELISH FESTIVAL

Keri, Chud and Flair are a powerhouse combination of humans who also happen to be family. The idea for Relish had been slowly percolating in the background of their minds for numerous years, as they gained knowledge and experience through the process of creating numerous beautiful gatherings for their community. It finally came into fruition when Flair approached Keri and Chud back in 2017 and said ‘I can get the band My Baby to come and play for us…. What can we do?’

All three organisers have seen the power of what happens when people gather together and give their time and energy to co-create, and they understood that a festival would enhance and grow this understanding. What is created at Relish is something they hold very dear, and are so very happy to facilitate in sharing it with the community around them.

Each of the organisers brings their own strengths. Chud is the visionary, overseeing the construction and placement of the site, and problem solving any challenge that comes his way. Keri is the task-master, amazingly capable of understanding all the areas of the festival that need help and able to direct all helping hands in an efficient way. She is also very good at turning white marquees into beautifully decorated luscious zones. Flair is a strong part of the behind-the scenes organisation and is dedicated to keeping the wheels rolling. She works well with all who come along to help and aims to find ways for everyone to find their place to be able to contribute and feel at home. Together these organisers make a complementary and powerful team.

Keri, Chud and Flair hope that your time at Relish helps you to find a safe space to let down your barriers, connect to others, open up to the joy of life around you, and shows you the power you have to help and feed your community. Music, food, workshops, comfort, sun and a beautiful spot all help to bring this to fruition. Take this gift, and share it throughout your days.
